Don't be fooled by all of the "make money online" claims you see littering the inter webs. If they truly worked, why would the sellers of these techniques and products want you to make "millions" of dollars. Why aren't they keeping these ideas for themselves, and making the millions of dollars they claim can be made. All normal people making millions of dollars doing something would keep the real money making secrets to themselves. The reason people are selling you money making secrets and tools to make you money is because there really is not money to be made anymore. The only money being made is by selling you information and tools to help you make your millions.

One of these internet money making systems is BANS. It stands for "Build a Niche Site". The concept of BANS is actually good, but the market is just too saturated. BANS is basically a web site building tool based around the Ebay affiliate program. You pick a "niche" and build a website around your given "niche" and provide Ebay listings on your site. Users click on the Ebay links and hopefully buy something off of Ebay and you get a commission.

Easy right? NO, difficult. Not because BANS is a bad tool, but because too many people are running these affiliate sites. Your success with these affiliate sites depends on large amounts of web traffic being driven to your site. Unless you are an expert in search engine optimization or know tricks I don't know, you will most likely have some trouble at first getting organic traffic to your site. You are going to have to pay for traffic at first. Success also depends on having the perfect niche item to sell. Items such as houses and cars are usually not bought on a whim by people visiting your website, and really cheap items like hair brushes don't provide a high commission. Most "niches" have been taken already, and only really obscure niches are available.

I set up an affiliate site called Less Consumption that currently costs more to run than it makes. My site is BANS free, and I used Ebay's free affiliate tools to create my site. I had a vision of setting this site up and magically making thousands of dollars a day. Not even close..... Maybe I am just being impatient. I will update this post If I magically make money.
